      Jared Deck is a leader who will continue the current growth in Western Oklahoma. Raised on a farm and in a family business, Jared has first-hand knowledge of the trials inherent in these ventures. With experience in business, agriculture, manufacturing, education, and the oil industry, Jared Deck believes in a hands-on approach to work and leadership.   

• 10 Years working and managing the family business, Deck's Foods in Thomas.

• Roughnecking in the oil patch, earning money for college.

• Working shifts as an operator in a production plant for three years.

• Owner/Operator of small music teaching business for over three years.

      Jared worked and managed the family grocery store for many years. Other employers include Imation Corporation & Nabors Drilling. He is currently a music minister at Bethany Baptist Church and private music teacher.

• Appointee to State Task Force on Youth Suicide Prevention

• Volunteer at the local V.A. center in Clinton

• Volunteer for Teenline Oklahoma

• Mentor for Youth & Family Services of Blaine, Canadian, & Major counties

      Jared received the State FFA Degree and Custer County Kiwanis Star Farmer award.

       House District 57 has experienced much success thanks to the people who strive to keep it going. With crop rotation and other soil conservation practices, farmers have added to the improvement of the local environment and averted Dust Bowl-like conditions. Economic developers have helped bring well-paying jobs to the area. Jared will seek to grow such flourishing projects.
